Great news for the movie on Oscar Nomination Day.

Godzilla let out a giant roar this morning as the foreign film Godzilla Minus One has been nominated for an Academy Award for BEST VISUAL EFFECTS. The film has made history as it is the first Japanese Language film to earn a nomination in the VFX category.
 
The film written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who also oversaw the film’s visual effects has grossed over $50 Million at the box office. This Friday, January 26th for ONE WEEK ONLY fans can enjoy a newly remastered Black and White version, GODZILLA MINUS ONE/MINUS COLOR in theaters.
