By Former “Ugly Betty” and “Barbie” movie star America Ferrera is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Recently Marvel premiered the first clip from the third season of their animated anthology series “What If?” with new episodes to return likely late in 2024.
The brief footage showed a scene between a trio of established MCU characters – Red Guardian (David Harbour), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), and Bill Foster (Laurence Fishburne).
There was also a glimpse of Ranger Morales, a whole new character in the MCU. According to members of the production team on podcast Phase Zero, Ferrera will provide the voice of. Morales.
This is hardly Ferrera’s first voice role, she’s served as the voice of Astrid in the “How to Train Your Dragon” franchise and will soon be heard in the space adventure film “Elio”.
The new run of episodes are still being worked on, so the third season doesn’t yet have a premiere date.
