David Fincher’s iconic 1995 thriller “Se7en” is coming to 4K UHD disc with several versions with details of the most elaborate – the ‘What’s in the Box’ Special Edition – now revealed via its Amazon listing.
That version contains the film on 4K UHD and Blu-ray, Steelbook and Deluxe What’s in the Box?! Packaging made to resemble the box from the film’s infamous finale.
There’s also: John Doe 38-Page Booklet, Frosted Pine ‘Little Trees’ Brand Air Freshener, 7x Deadly Sin Comic Books, 7x Deadly Sin Crime Scene Art Cards, A Double-Sided A3 Poster, A Help Me Glow-in-the-Dark Art Card, Investigation Chalkboard Art Card, and a Numbered Sticker of Authenticity.
There’s also a Special Edition which has the art cards, poster, booklet, steelbook and disc. Both versions will hit stores on January 12th.
The film follows two detectives (Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman) tracking a brilliant and elusive killer who orchestrates a string of horrific murders – each kill targeting a practitioner of one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Kevin Spacey co-star in the film which remains one of Fincher’s most iconic and influential works. It also made $327.3 million in box-office worldwide from a budget nearly one-tenth of that.
