Universal Pictures has confirmed that “Trolls Band Together” is set to be able to buy or rent digitally on VOD starting from tomorrow (December 19th), just over a month after its release date and whilst the film is still sitting in fifth place at the domestic box-office. Firebrand
Roadside Attractions and Vertical have acquired U.S. rights to the Alicia Vikander and Jude Law-led historical thriller “Firebrand” which premiered at this year’s Cannes. The project is slated for an exclusive theatrical release on June 21st 2024.
Vikander plays Katherine Parr and this follows her in her quest to survive the perilous last months in the life of her ailing and abusive husband Henry VIII (Law). Eddie Marsan, Sam Riley, Simon Russell Beale and Erin Doherty co-star. [Source: Deadline]
Garfield
Sony Pictures has released a new poster for “The Garfield Movie,” the one-sheet showing off the iconic character (voiced by Chris Pratt) as a baby kitten. Samuel L. Jackson, Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillén, Brett Goldstein, and Bowen Yang co-star.
In the film, the lasagna-loving indoor cat has an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father – scruffy street cat Vic (Jackson). Soon, he and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a high-stakes heist. The film opens May 24th.
