Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew
The first official logo is out for filmmaker Greta Gerwig’s “Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew” based on the novel by author C. S. Lewis. David McKenna, Beatrice Campbell, Emma Mackey, Carey Mulligan, Ciarán Hinds, Daniel Craig, and Meryl Streep star.
In the film, the touch of a magical ring sends two friends hurtling into another world. They accidentally release an evil sorceress from her enchanted sleep. IMAX previews begin February 10th 2027, ahead of a wide theatrical release on February 12th and a Netflix streaming release on April 2nd. [Source: Fandango]
X-Men
Marvel Studios is reportedly seeking an Asian woman and a Native American man for supporting parts in its untitled “X-Men” film opening May 5th 2028. In addition, an actress is being sought for a small part in the film that is expected to be much larger in a sequel. Fans have speculated the three roles will be Jubilee, Thunderbird and Kitty Pryde. Alone At Dawn
The Adam Driver and Anne Hathaway-led “Alone At Dawn,” directed by Ron Howard, has set a December 25th 2027 limited release ahead of a January 7th 2028 expansion. Amazon MGM Studios is handling the title.
The story follows an intelligence officer who leads an investigation to get John Chapman the Medal of Honor after he fought to the death to save his fellow soldiers in the 2002 Battle of Takur Ghar. [Source: Yahoo]

Oscar-winning Robert De Niro is in talks to play legendary Brooklyn Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda in a new sports film “Tommy & Me” at Skydance Sports. Reid Carolin (“Dog”) is slated to direct the baseball film from a script he has co-written with George Gallo and Cambron Clark, but plot specifics are under wraps. [Source: Deadline]
The Decline of F—ing Western Civilization
