By Jack Reacher may be one of television’s toughest heroes, but now it’s Frances Neagley’s turn to step into the spotlight. Prime Video has released the first teaser for Neagley, a brand-new spin-off centered on Maria Sten’s fan-favourite investigator, and it looks ready to deliver the same hard-hitting action that made Reacher a global hit.
The series follows Frances Neagley, a former member of the Army’s elite 110th Special Investigations Unit and one of Jack Reacher’s most trusted allies. Now working as a private investigator in Chicago, Neagley is pulled into a dangerous case after learning that a close friend has died under what authorities describe as an accident. She isn’t convinced. Determined to uncover the truth, she launches her own investigation, exposing a conspiracy that quickly turns deadly.
The teaser wastes no time reminding viewers why Neagley became such a standout character. Calm, observant and always several moves ahead, she confidently tells a suspicious stranger, “Right now, you’re using that information to find out everything you can about me. Figured I’d save you the trouble.”
From there, the footage explodes into surveillance missions, high-speed car chases, brutal shootouts and close-quarters combat, all while hinting that the investigation will force Neagley to confront painful chapters from her own past.
Developed by Reacher creator Nick Santora alongside Law & Order writer Nicholas Wootton, the spin-off promises to expand the world of Lee Child’s bestselling novels while giving one of the franchise’s most compelling characters a chance to shine. If the first teaser is any indication, Neagley looks set to deliver another adrenaline-fuelled thriller packed with mystery, action and the no-nonsense attitude fans have come to expect from the Reacher universe.
