Blair Witch
Lionsgate has set a September 24th 2027 release date for the new “The Blair Witch Project” feature.

Joshua Leonard and Michael Williams will serve as executive producers on the new film alongside returning directing team Eduardo Sánchez, Daniel Myrick, and Gregg Hale.

Dylan Clark directs the reboot while James Wan and Jason Blum are producing. Plot specifics for what approach the new film will take are under wraps. [Source: Lionsgate]

The One Piece
A new one-sheet is out for “The One Piece,” Netflix’s upcoming lavish remake of the original “One Piece” anime that will update the original anime – compressing it into a more manageable form and delivering higher quality art.

The poster comes ahead of the project’s teaser trailer which will launch tomorrow afternoon. The anime will launch in February 2027 and comes ahead of the live-action show’s third season which is expected in the back half of next year.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
Nicolas Cage joins the world of “Call of Duty” as a playable character in Season 04 Reloaded, arriving on June 25th. Players will be able to compete in new maps and game modes, while the popular throwback Black Ops classic mode will be permanently added to the first-person shooter.

Aardman + Pokemon
The first artwork is out from “Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu,” the new stop-motion animated series from “Wallace & Gromit” creators Aardman Animation coming in 2027.

An epic journey through the wilds of Galar, our heroes embark on a gallant quest to help and protect Pokémon across the region. Their missions rarely go as planned, but their noble deeds forge their friendship as they step bravely into the unknown. Daviegh Chase
Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois, the co-directors of 2002 animated hit “Lilo & Stitch,” have drawn an illustration to the late Daveigh Chase who voiced Lilo in the film. Chase tragically died this week at just 35 after spiralling into addiction and homelessness.
