The first trailer for Bleecker Street’s sci-fi thriller ISS has dropped. This opens in cinemas on January 19th.
When a global conflict breaks out on Earth, the astronauts on the ISS are not immune from the political fallout. Tensions flare as American and Russian astronauts receive orders from the ground: take control of the station for their respective countries by any means necessary.
Tension and suspicion grow as both sides have to figure out how to proceed as the conflict grows on the planet beneath them.
Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina, Pilou Asbaek, John Gallagher Jr., Costa Ronin, and Masha Mashkova star.
Gabriela Cowperthwaite (Blackfish) directs from a script that was on the famous Black List of promising unmade screenplays. That was written by Nick Shafir.
ISS premiered at the Tribeca Festival in June to very good reviews.
However good it is, it still won’t beat the Space Argument series.
