The second trailer for Sony Pictures’ “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” appears to have leaked online.
Originally, a trailer description came out, followed by audio and now an incredibly poor quality bootleg of an apparent trailer is on social media, one so cropped and zoomed in that it’s nearly impossible to make out what can be seen.
One thing that is quite visible is an apparent ‘Property of Columbia Pictures’ watermark.
The trailer indicates the teaser’s money shot of Spidey & The Hand battling in the sky has been shifted, so the locale is now within a prison. Tombstone, Boomerang, Scorpion, and Tarantula are all reportedly absent from this trailer.
The trailer also reportedly shows off the mind-jumping villain glimpsed in the teaser, suspected to be Jean Grey, who triggers a grey version of Hulk at one point. Marisa Tomei also reportedly narrates part of the trailer.
While it still could be an AI hoax, a new trailer is expected to arrive next week, so the timing does line-up. Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo co-star in the film.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is set to open in cinemas July 31st.
