Henry Cavill is set to team with Kevin Hart for the new McG-directed Netflix action comedy announced a month ago.
The story follows two rival spies who cross paths in a Lamaze class as their wives become fast friends.
With their double lives colliding in unexpectedly hilarious and dangerous ways, the two men are forced to reluctantly become confidantes and partners on the road to fatherhood.
“Masters of the Universe” scribes Adam and Aaron Nee along with “Banshee” and “Warrior” creator Jonathan Tropper are teaming to write the script. The trio is writing based on a short story by Sean Lewis.
Hart is also producing via his Hartbeat shingle, along with Luke Kelly-Clyne and Bryan Smiley. Also involved are Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort production company and the “Stranger Things” trio of Shawn Levy, Dan Levine and Emily Morris for 21 Laps.
Cavill, coming off Guy Ritchie’s “In the Grey,” will next be seen in the third “Enola Holmes” film this Summer along with the “Voltron” film and “Highlander” reboot next year.
