Filming has officially wrapped on the 1950s New York-set crime thriller “Kockroach” starring Chris Hemsworth, Taron Egerton and Zazie Beetz.

The story follows a mysterious stranger from New York’s criminal underworld who transforms himself into a larger-than-life crime boss in a city where power is everything.

Shot over the past seven weeks in Sydney, Australia, Hemsworth has taken to Instagram to share photos from the set, which show off period settings, including a cinema screening of 1957’s “12 Angry Men”.

Alec Baldwin, Rachel Sennott and Brian Geraghty co-star in the film which originally had Channing Tatum and Oscar Isaac in the Hemsworth and Egerton roles respectively.

Matt Ross (“Captain Fantastic”) directs from a script by Jonathan Ames (“You Were Never Really Here”) with revisions by Ross. The project is based on the novel by William Lashner.

Also involved are production designer Colin Gibson (“Mad Max: Fury Road”), cinematographer Adam Arkapaw (“True Detective: Season 1”) and VFX Supervisor Jonathan Dearing (“The Invisible Man”).

“Kockroach” has yet to set a release date.
