Sonic the Hedgehog 4
Ben Schwartz has confirmed that voice recording on the film has begun, the sessions commencing after the live-action elements of the film have already been shot and wrapped the other week at Shinfield Studios in Berkshire, UK. The film is still on track for a March 19th 2027 release. [Source: X]
Baywatch
Original “Baywatch” stars Michael Bergin and Kelly Packard will reportedly guest star in the new “Baywatch” series for FOX. The pair will reprise their roles of Jack “J.D.” Darius and April Giminski.
They join the previously announced original series stars David Chokachi, who returns in a recurring role as Cody Madison, and Erika Eleniak, who will guest star as Shauni McClain. The series, led by Stephen Amell, launches January 2027. [Source: Variety]
That Texas Blood
FX is developing a new live-action TV series based on a popular Image Comics neo-noir western title “That Texas Blood” by Chris Condon and Jacob Phillips. “Hap and Leonard” duo Jim Mickle and E.L. Katz will produce.
The story follows Sheriff Joe Bob Coates of Ambrose County, who questions his place in a violent world after a man comes back home following the sudden disappearance of his brother. [Source: FX]
Tortures of the Damned
Lionsgate has picked up “Terrifier” filmmaker Damien Leone’s “Tortures of the Damned” which he will write, direct, and produce once he completes “Terrifier 4”. Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert will produce through their Ghost House label. Currently in pre-production, story details are under wraps. [Source: Lionsgate]
Fable
Microsoft has confirmed that its highly anticipated “Fable” game reboot has been delayed until February 2027. The delay is reportedly being done so the game can have “the dedicated moment it deserves”.
A new look at the title will be shown at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7th. Xbox CCO says the game is in “great shape” and they simply “want to make sure that the game has a window all to its own”. [Source: Xbox]
