The Upshaws
“The Upshaws” has been renewed for a fourth season with production on another ten episodes set to start in 2024. They’ll join the six-episode back half of the third season which will premiere in Spring 2024.

Untitled Sammy Davis Jr. Series
Hulu is not moving forward with its planned limited series about Sammy Davis Jr. to star Elijah Kelley and be produced by Lee Daniels.
20th Television will be shopping the project to other buyers and plans to attach additional talent before taking it out. Hulu ordered the long-gestating limited series in April 2022 with Kimberly Harrison coming onboard back in February last year. [Source: Deadline]
Kind of Kindness
“Poor Things” director Yorgos Lanthimos has renamed his next film which was titled “AND” and will now be called “Kind of Kindness”. Searchlight Pictures is expected to release the film, shot last Fall in New Orleans, next year.
Emma Stone, Joe Alwyn, Margaret Qualley, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Plemons, Hong Chau, and Hunter Schafer co-star in the film, but story details are fully under wraps. Efthimis Filippou co-wrote the script. [Source: Indiewire]
Growth
Riz Ahmed has reportedly joined the cast of “In the Loop” and “The Death of Stalin” writer/director Armando Iannucci’s new film “Growth”. Viola Davis and Bradley Cooper are also rumored to be part of the cast.
The drama follows the founder of a Snapchat-like social media platform, who races to deal with the company’s exponential growth and devastating leak of user’s private content. [Source: World of Reel]
