New Lead For FLESH OF THE GODS

The interesting-sounding vampire project has a new lead actor. Oscar nominee Wagner Moura (Civil War, Narcos) will take over from Oscar Isaac as the co-lead in Flesh Of The Gods. He will appear alongside Kristen Stewart. Isaac exited the project due to scheduling conflicts.

According to a report in Deadline, A24 has also grabbed the US distribution gig.

Panos Cosmatos (Mandy) directs the story that follows Raoul (Moura) and Alex (Stewart). They are a married couple in 1980s Los Angeles who descend each evening from their luxury skyscraper condo and head out to sample the nightlife of the city. When they cross paths with the mysterious and enigmatic Nameless and her hard-partying cabal, Raoul and Alex are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills… and violence.

Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en) wrote the script from an original story by Cosmatos and Walker.

Stewart, Adam McKay, Maggie McLean, Betsy Koch, Jonas Katzenstein, and Maximilian Leo are producing.
