“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” concert film is coming to streaming with the movie set to be available to rent on demand starting December 13th in North America and additional countries.
Swift herself made the announcement on Monday morning, telling fans the film will be available to stream on her birthday.
In addition, the streaming version will be an extended cut with three bonus songs not seen in theaters – “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live”.
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will be exclusively releasing the title through digital platforms in the U.S. and Canada where you can rent movies – including Apple, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, Xfinity, and YouTube & Google TV.
Additional countries for release will be announced soon. This is an on demand release only, not an SVOD release so don’t expect it to join a streaming catalogue just yet.
The concert film ultimately has grossed $249 million worldwide from a budget of just $10-20 million. The news comes as Swift wrapped her record-breaking global Eras Tour on Sunday night in Brazil.
