A raw, hard-hitting fight drama Blazing Fists is stepping into the spotlight as legendary filmmaker Takashi Miike returns with a story that blends brutal action with emotional redemption.

The film follows two troubled teens, Ikuto and Ryoma, who meet inside a juvenile detention center and form an unlikely bond. What begins as friendship quickly turns into a shared mission: fight their way out of a life defined by crime. But there’s a twist – Ryoma has no idea that Ikuto, the quiet and easygoing inmate, is actually the most dangerous fighter behind bars… and is imprisoned for a crime Ryoma himself committed.

Their lives take a turn when real-life MMA star Mikuru Asakura appears, inspiring them to pursue a new path through his underground “Breaking Down” tournament. Determined to change their futures, the duo sets their sights on the ring — but freedom won’t come easy.

Starring Danhi Kinoshita, Kaname Yoshizawa, and Mariko Shinoda, the film promises intense training, bare-knuckle brawls, and deeply personal battles.

With Miike at the helm, expect a gritty, emotional ride where the toughest opponents aren’t just in the ring, but in the past.
