Move over 1990s, the remake of early 2000s films have begun.

Netflix has announced that the streamer is planning a remake of the 2004 rom-com classic “13 Going on 30” which starred Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo, Judy Greer and Andy Serkis.

Garner starred in the original as the older version of Jenna Rink, an awkward teenager magically transported into her 30-year-old life as a high-powered, but messy, magazine editor.

A variation on “Big,” the film received generally positive reviews from critics with Garner in particular drawing praise for her performance. The film grossed $96 million worldwide off a $37 million budget.

Garner will executive produce the new film in which Emily Bader (“People We Met on Vacation”) and Logan Lerman (“The Perks of Being a Wallflower”) will lead the cast. Further casting is expected to be announced at a later date.

Brett Haley will direct the film from a screenplay by Hannah Marks (“After Everything”) and with revisions by Flora Greeson (“The Princess Diaries 3”). Plot specifics of the new version are under wraps.

Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum will produce.
