“Dune” character Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, played by Austin Butler in the upcoming Denis Villeneuve-directed “Dune: Part Two,” appears to be headed to Activision’s “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3”.
According to MWIIIIntel (via ComicBook.com), data miners have allegedly uncovered information suggesting a skin for the brutal combat fighter and ruthless villain character is coming to the game.
In addition, the report indicates “Elvis” actor Butler’s pale and bald version of the character for the film appears to be the one being used as Feyd’s likeness in the game.
“Call of Duty” has crossed over with various other franchises in recent years, such as “The Terminator”. “Modern Warfare III” released in stories earlier this month to mixed reviews and heavy criticism of its campaign mode.
The new MW3 hasn’t had any significant crossovers yet though other rumored ones this week include Timothee Chalamet’s Paul Atreides from “Dune,” Jessie T. Usher’s A-Train from “The Boys” and several “The Walking Dead” characters.
The first ‘season’ of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III” begins on December 6th. “Dune: Part Two” opens in cinemas everywhere on March 1st.
