Netflix rarely dabbles into the realm of physical media, so this is big news.
With the show now over, the streaming giant has confirmed they are bringing their smash hit supernatural drama “Stranger Things” to disc with a complete series box-set to be made available both in 4K and Blu-ray.
Netflix is collaborating with Arrow Video on the 25-disc set which will be available from July 28th and feature an array of exclusive bonus content.
The set will include original DTS-HD MA 5.1 surround and stereo audio for all episodes plus Dolby Atmos for Seasons 4 & 5.
The deluxe edition includes behind-the-scenes featurettes, set tours, bloopers, artcards, double-sided posters, reversible sleeves, a Hawkins map, Palace Arcade coin-token, Hellfire Club patch & dice, and a 148-page perfect-bound artbook.
The Duffer Brothers said in a statement, “We always dreamed that Stranger Things could be owned in its entirety. Not just as a collector’s set, but as a way to preserve the show for decades to come.”
Return to Hawkins this July with STRANGER THINGS: THE COMPLETE SERIES, available in Special and Deluxe Editions on Blu-ray and 4K UHD.
