Jack O’Connell (“28 Years Later: The Bone Temple”), Jason Clarke (“The Last Frontier”) and Katy O’Brian (“Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning”) have all joiend the cast of “A Quiet Place: Part III” at Paramount Pictures.

The trio join returning actors Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmons, and Noah Jupe in the third main and fourth overall entry in the horror franchise with John Krasinski back in the director’s chair.

Blunt, Jupe, and Simmonds will all reprise their roles as members of the Abbott family which they played in the 2018 first and 2021 second film, while Murphy will reprise his role from the second film.

Plot specifics of the new entry are under wraps. It comes after the Michael Sarnoski-directed prequel film “A Quiet Place: Day One” which opened in 2024 to a $52 million opening weekend.

Producer Brad Fuller revealed last year that Krasinski is in such demand, it had been hard to find the time to get him to direct a ‘Part III’ but they finally did it with the project coming together in development last year.

Youngsters Jupe and Simmonds aged slightly between the first two films but they still played them as the same age as the first. That won’t be possible in the third film as the actors, especially Jupe, look notably different to their previous appearances.

Filming will now kick off this year ahead of a July 30th 2027 release.
