VisionQuest
Mick Giacchino, son of Michael Giacchino, will score the Marvel Studios series “VisionQuest” that sees Paul Bettany returning to star as The Vision along with James Spader as Ultron.

The younger Giacchino won an Emmy for his work on “The Penguin” series and has done work on several Disney+ series including “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew,” “The Muppets Mayhem” and “Zootopia+”. [Source: THR]

Streaming service BET+ is shutting down, and its 1000 hours or so of programming is set to be folded into the Paramount+ service in June. Paramount Skydance has also bought out Tyler Perry Studios’ equity stake in the service. [Source: THR]

Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness
A June 26th premiere date has been set and the first clip has been released from Larry David’s new HBO comedy series “Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness” – a sketch comedy about American history created to mark America’s 250th anniversary.

Guest stars include the likes of Bill Hader as Abraham Lincoln, Jon Hamm and Sean Hayes as the Wright Brothers, Kathryn Hahn, Jerry Seinfeld, Joe Manganiello and Barack Obama. The seven-episode series contains around four sketches per episode.

Crystal Lake
The first photos, albeit decidedly vague ones, have been released from the upcoming “Friday the 13th” prequel series “Crystal Lake” on Peacock. The A24 produced show hails from showrunner Brad Caleb Kane and stars the likes of Linda Cardellini, William Catlett, Devin Kessler and Cameron Scoggins. No premiere date has yet been set.
