The weekend is here again, and thank goodness! Instead of being bored at work, just get bored at home instead. I’m starting my weekend with Fish ‘n’ Chip Friday, a British classic.
Then, I will be sitting on my sofa and trying to find something to watch over the weekend. Thank goodness the Last Movie Outpost has some suggestions for you.
Shelby Oaks – Movie – A movie made by a movie critic, and was pretty good, see our review.
Shaun of the Dead – Movie – Pure brilliance from Edgar Wright, and watching it again, the script is so well written.
Hot Fuzz – Movie – Another great comedy from Wright, and personally, I like it more than Shaun.
The World’s End – Movie – Finishing off the Cornetto Trilogy, not a great end, but an end.
Predator – Movie – The original and still one of the best action movies ever! Read Stark’s great Behind-the-Scenes of it.
Good Boy – Movie – A very well-done horror movie, all from the dog’s perspective.
The Last Frontier – TV Series – And an amazing opening episode, shame it petered out and got cancelled.
Berlin Sound Studio – Movie – Starring Toby Jones, interesting, but I couldn’t get my teeth into it.
Avengers: Endgame – Movie – Put it on a work in the background, but still a good movie.
Star Trek – TV Series – The original series, because of Yoda’s epic review of the series.
Train Dreams – Movie – An interesting movie, but more ‘art’ than a movie. I did like it, though.
Johnny Mnemonic – Movie – Keanu Reeves is a walking hard drive, and still a solid movie.
The Mandalorian – TV Series – Seasons 1 and 2 only, back when Star Wars was still remembered fondly.
That’s your weekend sorted. What are you going to watch? I see that The Wrecking Crew and the new Anaconda are on VoD, I might try to check out both.
