The Skyline franchise is gearing up for another round of alien warfare with Skyline: Warpath, the fourth entry in the long-running sci-fi action series, set to arrive in 2026.

The franchise began with 2010’s Skyline, a modestly budgeted alien-invasion thriller that struggled with critics but still managed to gross $68.3 million worldwide, spawning an unexpected cult following.

That momentum carried into Beyond Skyline in 2017, which leaned harder into martial arts spectacle with Frank Grillo, followed by 2020’s Skylines, led by Rhona Mitra and expanding the mythology even further.

Skyline: Warpath picks up five years after the events of Beyond Skyline. Sua now leads the Resistance in a full-scale fight against the alien occupiers. When he uncovers the powerful alien Radial Gauntlet, the conflict intensifies, forcing him to confront not only an invading extraterrestrial army but also Eric, a corrupt human threat operating from within. The story promises a heavier focus on combat-driven storytelling and large-scale action.

The cast signals a major pivot toward elite fight talent, with Iko Uwais, Scott Adkins, Louis Mandylor, and Yayan Ruhian headlining the sequel.

XYZ Films has acquired all U.S. distribution rights, positioning Warpath as the most action-forward and globally minded chapter in the Skyline saga to date.
