I said last week I’m back at work, and this week, I’ve barely seen any movies. This weekend, I plan to plant my back side on the sofa and watch as many movies as I can. The wife will moan about the pee bucket, but that’s the price of living with me.

As always, the Last Movie Outpost has some suggestions for your viewing pleasure this weekend, so here we go.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 – Movie – This was the sequel that Cannon produced and took in a very different direction.
Above the Law – Movie – Steven Seagal, the hardest man on the planet.
Xeno – Movie – A low-budget ‘kid befriends an alien’ movie. It was instantly forgettable.
One Battle After Another – Movie – A well-made movie, but boring, with no likeable characters.
Day of the Triffids (1963) – Movie – Still very scary, for slow-moving plants.
Uzumaki – Movie – Set in Japan, a town is beset by swirls that cause people to go mad. It was very good.
Paths of Glory – Movie – An early, and brilliant, Kubrick movie, with a great ending.
Showdown in Little Tokyo – Movie – Awesome action with Dolph Lundgren and Brandon Lee.

Aguirre: Wrath of God – Movie – Klaus Klinsky goes mad and is filmed by Werner Herzog.
Freaks of Nature – Movie – I saw this and had to look it up to remember it, and I still remember nothing about it.
Anemone – Movie – The new movie with Daniel Day-Lewis in, and incredibly dull.
Moonstruck – Movie – Cher and Nick Cage, ‘nuff said.

So, there’s your weekend all sorted. What are you going to watch?
