We’re in that strange void between Christmas and New Year, where you don’t know what day it is. Well, it’s Friday, and it’s the weekend.

Because of the strange holiday phenomenon, we missed Something for the Weekend last week. However, never fear, we’re back on track with some more movie suggestions.

Beyond the Poseidon Adventure – Movie – A perfect of example of how the first movie was successful, but they shouldn’t have made another one.
Heavy Metal (1981) – Movie – Still classic with great hand drawn animation.
Amityville 2: The Possession – Movie – A completely different tone to the first one.
The Smashing Machine – Movie – This was really good, Johnson was really good in this.

Waltzing with Brando – Movie – Billy Zane plays Marlan Brando, as he builds a hotel. Good movie, Zane was uncanny.
The Black Phone 2 – Movie – Again, another ‘first did well, let’s make another’, it was a cash grab.
Amityville 3D – Movie – Which was flogging a dead horse, but in 3D. Strange it was only a PG13, but it also had Meg Ryan in it.
I’ll Follow You Down – Movie – I saw this and can’t tell you a thing about it now.
Tango & Cash – Movie – Utter trash, but thoroughly entertaining.
GDT’s Frankenstein – Movie – A great movie, but a little overly long.
Fantastic Four: First Steps – Movie – Good, but most people forgot about it straight afterwards.
Star Wars – Movie – It was the ’99 special edition on TV. Not seen it before, it was OK.

There you go, some movies planned for your weekend watch. Hopefully, you have a few days before you go back to work, so what are you watching this weekend?
