Multiple big previews for 2026 films are due to arrive in the next week or so, and now two of them have been confirmed.

First up, IMAX has officially confirmed their plans for a nearly six-minute prologue for Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”. The prologue will first be attached to IMAX 70mm screenings of both “Sinners” and “One Battle After Another” this coming Friday according to Variety.

Then, a more regular trailer for “The Odyssey” will play ahead of all “Avatar: Fire and Ash” screenings on December 19th, while the prologue will continue to run exclusively before IMAX screenings of “Avatar: Fire and Ash”.

Nolan released the first teaser for the film back in July, that brief ‘year out’ trailer was exclusive to cinemas and never officially released online. The prologue isn’t expected to go online, but the regular trailer will be – though it’s unclear if that will be sometime next week before it hits cinemas, or a few days after.

Also confirmed is that the upcoming ‘year out’ teaser trailer for “Avengers: Doomsday,” which will also be attached to “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” will clock in at 1min 25 secs long.

That runtime was recently confirmed by the Korea Media Rating Board. Like with “The Odyssey,” it’s not clear when Marvel intends to release the clip online.

As previously reported a 90-second teaser trailer for Steven Spielberg’s UFO thriller, which doesn’t have an announced title as yet, is also going to be attached to “Avatar: Fire and Ash”.

Other trailers also expected to show in the next two weeks are the teaser trailers for the live-action “Masters of the Universe” film and the “Supergirl” movie with those two expected as early as this week.
