I keep meaning to watch the new adaptation of Interview With The Vampire. AMC’s lavish two-season telling of the famous Anne Rice novel gets staggeringly good reviews.
It was listed as one of the top “undiscovered shows” on TV, while pulling in 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and 89/100 on Metacritic.
People out there dig it. I really must find time in my schedule for it.
Now a new, extended trailer is out for The Vampire Lestat, the series adaptation of the second novel.
Louis (Jacob Anderson), Armand (Assad Zaman), and Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) all return. Delainey Hayles (Claudia) ill feature in flashbacks.
Joining the cast is Christopher Heyerdahl as Lestat’s mentor and Armand’s maker Marius de Romanus, with Damien Atkins as Lestat’s maker Magnus.
Ugandan-British actress/playwright Sheila Atim (The Woman King) will be Akasha, the Queen of the Damned.
Other newcomers include Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek) as Larry, Ryan Kattner (Destroy All Neighbors) as Salamander, Seamus Patterson (Cabinet of Curiosities) as Alex and Sarah Swire (The Boys) as TC.
The show will return in 2026.
