By I’ve just posted a review of Tape, it’s an Asian remake of an American movie. I snagged the opportunity to interview the cast and chatted with Adam Pak, who stars as Wing in the movie. I’ve also got an interview with Bizhan Tong, which I’m editing at the moment and will be up soon.
Adam is Australian born, but very well known in China. He’s starred in TV series like Inevitable, which I don’t know much about, so I don’t live in Asia, but I hear it’s very big over there.
Tape is an indie movie, which Adam isn’t all that used too, since most of his work is bigger movies and show, but again, in the Asian market.
Anyway, enough prattling on from me, here is the interview. I’m sorry about my audio; I had issues with my microphone because I’m an idiot.
He was a genuinely nice guy. Before I started recording, he said he had been watching my How to Make a Rom-Com video and laughing at it. I had forgotten I had made them, maybe I should get back on them?
As we have said, we will never shill here at the Last Movie Outpost, and the review I gave of Tape had no impact on talking to Adam. If I ever do shill, I promise I will tell you, in secret code or something.
