You know how you can’t even imagine how bad it can turn out? But Hollywood just keeps on surprising us. Well, get ready for Cool Runnings 2.
At first, you just kind of roll your eyes at another ‘long overdue sequel’ and just kind of ignore it. Well, it gets worse, according to this Tweet:

Yes, Cool Running 2 is in development with an all-female cast. I want to say nothing surprises me anymore, but this is right up there with The Last Jedi level of bad ideas.
Cool Runnings came out in 1993 and was produced by Disney. Based on the true story of Jamaica’s first bobsled team, the twist being that Jamaica is very hot, and bobsledding takes place in the cold.
It caught everyone’s imagination and was a heartwarming story about underdogs and how sheer determination can win out. I haven’t seen it in a while, but I remember shedding a tear at the end, when they cross the finish line.
The movie starred John Candy, Leon, Doug E. Doug, Rawie D. Lewis, Malik Yoba, and Raymond J Barry. The fact that it was a true story really makes it memorable.
Now, I have looked around online and cannot confirm this beyond the above tweet, so for now…
