OK, I have an emergency this Monday, it’s a serious one. I’m out of biscuits to dunk in my morning tea. So far, I’ve called UNICEF and Oxfam, but all I got was someone doing a bad impression of Ewan McGregor. This is serious, people, if I don’t get biscuits soon, I might not make it till lunchtime.
This is the worst Monday on record; the last one was when I had to review The Last Jedi on a Monday.
How was your weekend? Did you watch anything good? Did you go to the cinema?
I ended up watching 28 Years Later, which was much better than I hoped. I was going to do a streaming review, but I agree with Wrenage’s review. It’s a solid entry into the franchise and a good movie. The young lad, Alfie Williams, was excellent in it; he carried the movie very well.
Another movie I watched this weekend, which is not worth a review this Monday, was Dangerous Animals. I had seen people raving about it on the socials, but what a load of doggy doo doo. I shouldn’t be hugely surprised, it starred Jai Courtney. It was about a serial killer who was obsessed with sharks, and I thought it was going to be another Jaws.
