Amazon’s Prime Video has released the official trailer for the second season of “Reacher,” its acclaimed and popular TV series adaptation of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels.
The new season is based on the eleventh book in the series “Bad Luck and Trouble” and sees Reacher setting out to find answers when members of his old military unit turn up dead.
Twenty-seven Reacher novels in total have been published with three adapted so far – the first novel “The Killing Floor” served as the basis for the first season of this series, whilst the ninth novel “One Shot” and the eighteenth novel “Never Go Back” were used for the two Tom Cruise-led films.
Alan Ritchson and Maria Sten return from the first season in their respective Jack Reacher and Frances Neagley roles. Robert Patrick, Shaun Sipos, Serinda Swan, Ferdinand Kingsley and Domenick Lombardozzi co-star in the new season.
The first season ranked among Prime Video’s top five most-watched series ever in the U.S. and globally and was one of the most-binged original series ever on Prime Video.
The new run of “Reacher” will premiere on the service on December 15th.
