This time, it’s another nice, family animation, Super Charlie. The story about a young boy who gets a new baby brother, who has superpowers.
This looks like fun, and I like the animation style; it’s like Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, which is very funny.
Super Charlie stars the voices of Olando Wahlsteen, Silas Strand, Sven Bjorklund, Ulla Skoog, Tuva Novotny, Johan Rodlin, and Joakim Jennefors. Jon Holmberg writes and directs, based on the best-selling books by Camilla Lackberg. The story is:
Willie’s dream of fighting crime with his cop dad is shattered when his baby brother Charlie arrives. Besides stealing all the attention, Charlie turns out to have actual superpowers.
Superhero movies are so last year, but this is an original take. I’m betting Kevin Feige is cursing that he didn’t come up with it.
