A new report has indicated that “Bullet Train,” “Deadpool 2” and “The Fall Guy” director David Leitch is in talks to direct “Ocean’s 14,” a fourth film in the franchise setup at Warner Bros. Pictures.

The Insneider broke the news, indicating that George Clooney and Brad Pitt are coming back for the new film after the pair recently reunited on screen for “Wolfs” last year.

Clooney suggested a return a few months back, saying a “great script” is in place with an idea akin to Martin Brest’s 1979 comedy “Going In Style” about aging bank robbers. His Smokehouse label intends to produce the work.

Steven Soderbergh directed the three previous “Ocean’s” films and last year indicated he has “been there and done that” with the franchise and has no plans to return.

“Conclave” and “All Quiet on the Western Front” director Edward Berger was also rumored in the past, but that doesn’t seem to have panned out. There’s also the question of how much of the original ensemble will be back with co-stars Matt Damon and Casey Affleck the most logical to return.

A previously announced prequel film starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling has also been rumored in the past, but talk of that seems to have cooled.
