By Game developer Netmarble has revealed a new trailer for their action-adventure RPG title “Game of Thrones: Kingsroad” based on the hit HBO series.
In the game, you will embark on a journey to restore your house’s legacy, forging alliances through trials and betrayals while navigating a realm rife with intrigue, danger, and opportunity.
The game’s original storyline expands on that of the legendary TV series, allowing you to forge your own path amidst the power struggles of noble houses and the looming threat of what lies beyond the Wall.
The clip shows off some of the gameplay including the three classes – Knight, Sellsword, and Assassin. Knights are a balanced class with a “sophisticated fighting style”. Sellswords are brutal two-handed axe swinging juggernauts while Assassin relies on stealth, agility and close quarter combat.
The trailer also shows some of the traversal of this version of Westeros. A closed Beta Test for the game takes place next week and the game itself will launch sometime in 2025.
