The Family Plan
“Game of Thrones” and “Industry” star Kit Harington will join Mark Wahlberg in the sequel to hit action comedy “The Family Plan” at Apple Original Films. Simon Cellan Jones directs and Wahlberg will produce, while Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti and Van Crosby co-star.

Fablehaven
Angel Studios is set to produce and distribute a film adaptation of Brandon Mull’s best-selling fantasy book series “Fablehaven” which will shoot late summer 2025. Cameron Sawyer will direct and produce the film which will adapt the first of the books for a late 2026 release.

The story centers on two siblings who visit their grandfather’s mansion, unaware it is a reserve for mythical creatures. The grandfather is kidnapped by goblins, forcing the siblings to find and rescue him while a witch named Muriel plans to unleash a powerful demon named Bahamut. [Source: Variety]

Unmerciful Good Fortune
Rosario Dawson is set to star in and produce the supernatural horror thriller “Unmerciful Good Fortune” with Tirsa Hacksaw set to make her feature directorial debut. The project is based on award-winning playwright Edwin Sanchez’s show of the same name.

Dawson plays Maritza Cruz, a high-end celebrity attorney pulled into a headline-making case involving Fatima – a young waitress accused of serial poisoning 28 people. Fatima’s defense? She claims she has the psychic ability to see how someone will die and reveals she is killing people to prevent a “fate worse than death”. [Source: Yahoo]

The Christophers
Sir Ian McKellen, Michaela Coel and James Corden are set to star in Steven Soderbergh’s next film, the dark comedy “The Christophers” which goes into production in London in February.

The story follows the estranged children of a once-famous artist who hire a forger to complete his unfinished works so they can be discovered and sold after his death. Ed Solomon (“No Sudden Move,” “Mosaic”) penned the script. [Source: Deadline]
