Comedian Adam Sandler has wrapped production on two high-profile projects likely to release next year.
First up, he confirmed that filming has wrapped on the “Happy Gilmore” sequel during an appearance on “The Dan Patrick Show”.
In addition, he confirmed that musician Eminem and retired golf pro Jack Nicklaus have cameos in the project.
As for when we might see it, Sandler indicated it won’t be arriving for the July 4th weekend but adds: “we’re trying to get it done in time for July.”
Production has also wrapped on Noah Baumbach’s comedy-drama “Jay Kelly” for Netflix with producer Amy Pascal confirming the news to the trade.
Baumbach penned the script with actress Emily Mortimer who also appears in the project which was shot in New York City, London, and Tuscany. Plot specifics are under wraps.
George Clooney and Adam Sandler lead the cast which also includes Laura Dern, Greta Gerwig, Riley Keough, Patrick Wilson, Isla Fisher, and Nicôle Lecky.
