By The Scarlet Witch herself, actress Elizabeth Olsen, is set to join Julia Roberts in the paranoid thriller feature “Panic Carefully” at Warner Bros. Pictures.
“Mr. Robot” creaotr Sam Esmail is set to direct from his own script with the studio committed to a theatrical release.
“Panic Carefully” is said to be reminiscent of “Silence of the Lambs” and “Mr. Robot”, but further plot specifics are under wraps.
It marks yet another re-teaming of Esmail and Roberts following their successful collaborations on the first season of Amazon’s “Homecoming,” the Starz mini-series “Gaslit” in 2022, and last year’s Netflix film hit “Leave the World Behind”.
Esmail will produce with Roberts, Chad Hamilton, Scott Stuber, Marisa Yeres Gill and Lisa Gillan.
Olsen most recently appeared in Netflix drama “His Three Daughters” and plays the lead in director Fleur Fortune’s sci-fi thriller “The Assessment”. Roberts will next be seen opposite Andrew Garfield in Luca Guadagnino’s thriller “After the Hunt”.
