By The official “Mission: Impossible” social media accounts have released a new behind-the-scenes looks at a key water stunt on the set of “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning”.
Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning will be released in United States theaters in May 2025. The eighth film in the long-running spy franchise will see Cruise once again reprise his role as Ethan Hunt.
In a clip, Cruise is seen getting ready for a dangerous, water-based stunt with the actor suiting up and prepping for the sequence.
Cruise himself also shared a photo on X that shows him underwater performing the stunt, captioning it: “The training and preparation we put into this film is a culmination of all before it. From the depths, to the skies, I can’t wait to share more with you.”
The film also stars Hayley Atwell as Grace, Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Vanessa Kirby as Alanna Mitsopolis, Esai Morales as Gabriel, Pom Klementieff as Paris, Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge, Angela Bassett as Erika Stone, Nick Offerman, Hannah Waddingham, Holt McCallany, Greg Tarzan Davis and Janet McTeer.
Christopher McQuarrie pens and directs the film which will be released in United States cinemas on May 23rd 2025.
