Everyone’s favorite felons are back as Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation Studios releases the official trailer for their animated sequel The Bad Guys 2. View trailer below.
Five years after the events of the first film, The Bad Guys are struggling to find trust and acceptance in their newly minted lives as Good Guys, when they are pulled out of retirement and forced to do “one last job” by an all-female squad of criminals, The Bad Girls.
Oh wow….to be quite honest….I am a bit surprised by this trailer. Yes, I did like (and enjoy) watching the first Bad Guys movie, liking the style of animation, the humor, and the voice talents that participated in the feature. While I did welcome the idea of a sequel film, I don’t recall hearing any type of official announcement for it, which makes this official trailer for the new movie quite interesting. I do like how it does feel very much like the same thing of what I liked about the first Bad Guys film (animation, humor, and voice talents) are all back and in rare form. The plot looks interesting, but seems a bit convenient for a cartoon feature film. Regardless of that, I think that The Bad Guys 2 will be an enjoyable animated film that many of its target demographics will thoroughly delight in.
