Netflix has premiered the trailer for “Missing You,” the next limited series based on a 2014 novel by author Harlan Coben.

An adaptation of Coben’s 2016 book “Fool Me Once” made headlines in January this year, proving a runaway success that became the streamer’s most-watched series across the first half of 2024.

“Slow Horses” alum Rosalind Eleazar leads the cast along with Ashley Walters, Lenny Henry and Richard Armitage in supporting roles.

Eleazar plays Kat Donovan, a detective specialising in Missing Persons. Eleven years ago her fiancé Josh, the love of her life, vanished without a trace. She hasn’t heard from him since.

Now, swiping profiles on a dating app, she suddenly sees his face and her world explodes all over again. Steve Pemberton, Jessica Plummer, Mary Malone, Lisa Faulkner and James Nesbitt co-star.

Quay Street Productions is backing the project which was shoot in and around Manchester and the North West of England earlier this year.

Coben, Shindler, Richard Fee, Victoria Asare-Archer and Danny Brocklehurst executive produce with Asare-Archer serving as lead writer. Nimer Rashed and Isher Sahota direct.
