Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige popped up at Singapore’s Disney APAC Content Showcase where he shared some minor details about Marvel’s films in the coming years.

First up, he touched upon next year’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” which seems to paint the way for the upcoming “Avengers” films with Feige confirming the F4 cast will be involved in those:

“We’re bringing Marvel’s First Family into the MCU. They wrap next week, the movie comes out next summer, and then all those characters go right into the next Avengers movies, so I’m very excited for the future of the Fantastic Four.”

Feige teases that the next few Marvel Studios movies might feature some “X-Men players that you might recognize,” but it will be with “Avengers: Secret Wars” in May 2027 when the floodgates open and mutants will arrive en masse in the MCU:

“The whole story of Secret Wars really leads us into a new age of mutants and of the X-Men. Again, [it’s] one of those dreams come true. We finally have the X-Men back.”

He also teased next Summer’s “Thunderbolts*” film saying that is “what Marvel is all about” before adding: “It’s taking characters from all different types of places and franchises and putting them together. That’s what the Avengers is, that’s what Guardians of the Galaxy is.”
