Emilia Pérez
Filmmaker Jacques Audiard has revealed he has an idea for a prequel to his musical crime comedy movie “Emilia Pérez” which was the toast of Cannes this year and stars Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez and Karla Sofía Gascón.
Audiard says the prequel would be about what Manitas was like when he was a drug kingpin struggling with the Emilia Pérez persona inside him. The film is now available to stream on Netflix. [Source: Indiewire]
The Beast
Renny Harlin (“Cliffhanger,” “Die Hard 2”) is officially set to direct the upcoming Samuel L. Jackson and Joel Kinnaman-led “The Beast” film penned by Umair Aleem (“Kate”). Harlin and Jackson previously worked together on “Deep Blue Sea” and “The Long Kiss Goodnight” and he is replacing previously announced director James Madigan.
When a militia of unidentified hostiles coordinates a coup against the U.S., the president (Jackson) uncovers the extent of The Beast’s highly classified offensive capabilities. Newlyweds Justin Long and Kate Bosworth will star in survival thriller “Coyote which follows a family fighting to survive against a pack of crazed coyotes during a raging wildfire in the Hollywood Hills.

Kraven the Hunter
Sony Pictures has shared a new featurette for Marvel and Sony’s “Kraven the Hunter” which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on December 13th. J.C. Chandor helms the R-rated action thriller.
Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences – motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.
