Channing Tatum, Dave Bautista, Zoë Kravitz, Léa Seydoux, and Riley Keough have all joined “Sasquatch Sunset” directors David and Nathan Zellner’s alien invasion comedy film “Alpha Gang”.
They join the already cast Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett and Oscar nominee Steven Yeun in the film which will be shopped at the American Film Market in early November.
The story reportedly takes place in the 1950s and follows a group of alien invaders as they pretend to be a leather-clad biker gang. Blanchett, who also produces, will play the gang’s leader.
Yeun is the only actor from the original incarnation of the project several years ago to remain. That original version had the likes of Andrea Riseborough, Nicholas Hoult, Jon Hamm, Mackenzie Davis, Sofia Boutella, and Charlotte Gainsbourg starring.
David Zellner (“Damsel,” “Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter”) has written the script and both brothers will produce alongside Coco Francini. Filming begins in the Spring.
