By Paramount Network has premiered the official trailer for the final run of its immensely popular western drama “Yellowstone” which was the most-watched cable TV series for a few years there.
This second half of the fifth season returns on November 10th, nearly two years since the first half of the season went to air.
Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Forrie J. Smith, and many more return for the final episodes.
Costner announced his exit from the series this past June after very public disagreements between the actor and series creator Taylor Sheridan.
Costner shows up several times in the clip, albeit briefly, with the focus primarily on the other cast. Sheridan has indicated in the past that the closure of Costner’s character’s final arc has been ‘truncated’ but not altered.
Just how much involvement, if any, Costner has actually on screen in this final run and how he’s being written out remain the biggest mysteries of the show.
The series has had multiple spin-offs, including “1883” and “1923,” with more on the way such as the in development direct follow-up “The Madison”.
