The Jonathan Majors-led aspiring bodybuilder drama “Magazine Dreams” has been acquired by Briarcliff Entertainment (“The Marksman,” “The Apprentice”) and will be released theatrically in the first quarter of 2025.
Searchlight landed the Elijah Bynum-directed movie at Sundance in 2023 but parted ways after Majors was convicted in 2023 of domestic assault and harassment. [Source: THR]

Following its Telluride and NYFF launches, Amazon MGM is taking Orion/Plan B film “Nickel Boys” for release later around mid-December rather than October as originally planned.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Peter Stormare has reprised his role of The Replacer in ads for the upcoming “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6”. The TV spot for the game has Soremare replacing people in their day-to-day life so they can go and play Call of Duty.
That includes jobs like being a firefighter, a rideshare driver, the pope, and even a family man. The talk comes as Max Spielberg, son of Steven, has revealed on MinnMax that his dad is a PC gamer and loves playing “Call of Duty”.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” is set to release on October 25th on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
