Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto has confirmed that production the sequel to 2021’s Bob Odenkirk action movie “Nobody” has finally been completed. Derek Kolstad, Odenkirk, Aaron Rabin, and Umair Aleem wrote the script.

Connie Nielson, Christopher Lloyd, and RZA return while Mckenna Grace, Colin Hanks, and John Ortiz join the cast and Sharon Stone will serve as the film’s main villain. [Source: Instagram]

Hellboy: The Crooked Man
Amazon pre-order listings indicate that the new Brian Taylor-directed film “Hellboy: The Crooked Man” has set a digital release date with the film being available to purchase VOD on October 8th. This would seem to confirm the film is skipping theatrical.

Set in the 1950s, rookie BPRD agent Bobbie Jo Song (Adeline Rudolph) finds herself in a dire situation when tasked with delivering a spider to the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense. She must enlist the help of Hellboy (Jack Kesy) to confront the malevolent Crooked Man, who has returned to Earth to harvest souls for the devil. [Source: CBM]

Deliver Me From Nowhere
UK acting veteran Stephen Graham (“Peaky Blinders,” “Snatch”) has joined the cast of Scott Cooper’s Bruce Springsteen biopic “Deliver Me From Nowhere” starring Jeremy Allen White as the famed American singer.

The story follows Springsteen during the making of his 1982 album “Nebraska,” a dark, stripped-down record that marked an artistic shift from “Born to Run”. Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young and Jeremy Strong also star and shooting begins this Fall. [Source: Variety]

Nosferatu
Robert Eggers’ “Nosferatu” appears set to release its next trailer on Monday after a clip was posted earlier today on Focus Features’ social media channels teasing the date of Monday, September 30th. The film itself hits cinemas December 25th.

The film is a new take on the 1922 silent film of the same name and tells a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire that is infatuated with her. The cast includes Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin Willem Dafoe, and Bill Skarsgård as the vampire Count Orlok.
