Netflix has premiered the official trailer for the third season of its acclaimed coming of age series “Heartstopper”.
Hayley Atwell, Jonathan Bailey and Eddie Marsan all join the new run, and all show up briefly in the new trailer in which Charlie (Joe Locke) and Nick (Kit Connor) are ready to take things to the next level.
As they get closer in every way, they face their relationship’s biggest challenge yet as Charlie seems to be dealing with mental health issues and Nick struggles to help.
Atwell will play Nick’s aunt, Marsan is Charlie’s therapist, and Bailey will play a Insta-famous classicist whom Charlie has a celebrity crush on.
The new run also explores other relationship struggles between Truham Grammar School students.
William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Jenny Walser, Rhea Norwood and Leila Khan also star in the series with the eight-episode new run premiering October 3rd.
