It’s time to saddle up with today’s launch of Fallout 76’s Milepost Zero. Now available for free for Fallout 76 players across all platforms, Milepost Zero introduces Legendary Crafting, a new C.A.M.P. feature called Best Builds, as well as improvements to combat. Additionally, players can look forward to a new questline later this month in which they will be able to load up their brahmin and start their own caravan delivery service around Skyline Valley.
Check out the Season 18 preview here.
Milepost Zero adds two new gameplay features, Legendary Crafting and Best Builds. Legendary Crafting allows players to craft their ideal weapons and armor giving players more control over the mods that are on their Legendary items. Before players can start swapping Legendary Mods onto their gear, they will need to obtain the mod they want to craft in one of two ways: trading for the mod with another player or scrapping Legendary items with the desired mod on them. Additionally, Best Builds is a new social system that allows players to submit, visit, and rate C.A.M.P.s.
Then, arriving later this month is a new quest line, A Bump in the Road in which players will escort caravans across the Shenandoah region making deliveries while being on guard for raiders and creatures. Players will also recruit a strong crew of varying professions to build up their own personal outpost where new rewards await. More on this new questline can be found here.
In addition to new content, Milepost Zero implements various bug fixes and improvements including updates to combat and rebalancing for creatures. For all the details on the new content and improvements included in Milepost Zero, check out the official blog here.
Launching alongside Milepost Zero is Season 18: Country Road. Players can unlock exciting rewards from the Seasons pages, like the Blue Ridge Power Armor and Weapon Paints, and new themed C.A.M.P items. For more details on this season’s rewards, check out the Season 18 trailer here.
Fallout 76: Milepost Zero is now available on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 5 and 4. Fallout 76 is also available on Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra. All the details on Milepost Zero can be found here.
