Following its inclusion on copies of “Alien: Romulus” in cinemas, FX has released the brief ten-second promo for its upcoming “Alien: Earth” TV series arriving next year.
The series hails from “Fargo” and “Legion” creator Noah Hawley and begins when a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth.
A young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.
As previously reported, the series will be set decades before the events of “Alien,” and around the same time as “Prometheus,” but will lean much more into the original films with these being evolved creatures (not android-created bioweapons) along with the retrofuturistic aesthetic of the original “Alien”.
Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Timothy Olyphant, Kit Young, Adarsh Gourav, David Rysdahl, Babou Ceesay, Lily Newmark, Adrian Edmondson, Sandra Yi Sencindiver and Moe Bar-El co-star.
“Alien: Earth” will premiere in 2025 and be available on Hulu.
