Filming has officially wrapped on Rian Johnson’s “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” the third film in the director’s “Knives Out” film series.
The wrap comes just over two months after the project began shooting in London in early-mid June. Daniel Craig is back as Southern-accented detective Benoit Blanc along with a packed list of potential suspects, victims and killer.
The all-star cast includes Josh Brolin, Thomas Haden Church, Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, Daryl McCormack, Josh O’Connor, Jeremy Renner, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny and Kerry Washington.
In the film, Blanc sets out to solve a new murder mystery. Plot specifics are under wraps but photos from the set have shown Spaeny in a wheelchair, both Brolin and O’Connor in multiple variations of priestly garbs, and Craig sporting long grey hair.
Close, who was reportedly only able to film two days on the project, was also seen with O’Connor’s character in scenes where she’s mourning someone.
Johnson and Ram Bergman are producing with plans for a late 2025 release on the streamer.
